Pelvic Floor Education, Information and Resources

about us

We often think of the pelvic floor in relation to pregnancy and child birth, and most of us will only try to find out more information later on in our lives when there seems to be a problem down there!

The Pelvic Floor Project is a platform for delivering pelvic health information to the modern woman in a way that is inspiring, easily accessible, evidence based and engaging.

This community and platform is here to provide information in a captivating way so that women can be motivated and inspired to identify and treat pelvic floor issues early (or before they even start!).

Empower(VERB): Make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life.

Meet Caitlin

Caitlin is the founder of the Pelvic Floor project

She is a Physiotherapist with special interest and further training in the area of Women’s Health.

I have worked with women across the lifespan as both a physiotherapist and fitness instructor. I currently treat as a senior physiotherapist in both the public health system and in my private clinic, The Hills Physiotherapy. Amongst many other things I am also a wife, a mum and a lover of coffee.

I have worked with women in the health and fitness industry for over 11 years and am incredibly passionate about pelvic health. The Pelvic Floor Project was driven by my passion for empowering women through education. I am dedicated to equipping women with the knowledge and understanding of their own pelvic health so that they can make informed health choices as they move through different stages of their lives.

My goal is to help women reach their full fearless potential. I (together with my team of rocking women) promise to rigorously and regularly stay up to date on the best pelvic floor research across the globe and to be open and transparent in my findings. The most rewarding part of my job is assisting women to feel strong, powerful and in control of their own health choices through targeted education. I started this project to share that love!

You can follow my own pelvic health journey on instagram @pelvicfloorwithcaitlin or listen to me chat with 2 other fantastic pelvic health physiotherapists on the podcast “Inside the Box”
